Hi, I'm Francesca 
 
I have been working as a freelance photographer and videographer for 10 years, working mostly on documentary projects investigating the relationship between people and their environment. I have studied photography at the International Center of Photography in New York and video journalism at the London College of Media and Journalism.
 
I would be particularly suited to the following sectors, due to my prior professional and academic experience: 
Architecture and Landscape - for 12 years I worked in academia as an architect, teaching and applying visual methods for collaborative projects and research for landscape architects, architects and PhD students at HEPIA Geneva and at EPFL Lausanne.
Climate adaptation and disaster relief - more recently I have been leading seminars on narratives, vulnerability and resilience at Copenhagen and Lund Universities
Arts - music and theatre - I have been documenting theatrical circus and social music projects for a few years
Civil society - I believe in the key role of civil society engagement, and on the importance of bringing stories to the public
 
An enthusiastic and creative person, I'm constantly looking forward to investigating and sharing the possibilities of taking a fresh look at reality.
